    Kogi Guber: We will not allow anyone without cognate work experience to manage Kogi, says Gov. Bello

    Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Yayaha Bello has said that the ruling All Progressive Congress,APC will not allow anyone without cognate work experience to take charge of the state.

    “Rather,we will employ the to repair those roads that were not properly done in the past”.

    The governor was speaking on Saturday while campaigning at the University town , Ayingba for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the governership candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

    The governor said that he can not afford to allow those without cognate experience of what it takes to govern not to talk of what governance meant rubbished the achievements of the past seven and half years.

    He urged the people of Kogi Eastern Senatorial district not to put ethnicity into consideration when deciding on who to vote for, instead “Go for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo who has been tested and trusted to continue from where he will stop on the 27th January 2024”.

    “You will take this message back home. First, all the messages that have been presented and delivered, take them back home.

    My time is coming to an end as the Chief Executive and Executive Governor of Kogi State. We are in the process of selecting another governor.

    With the grace of God, Ahmed Usman Ododo and Joe Salifu will continue from where I would stop”. The governor said.

    In the process, we have to tell you what we have been able to achieve, where we are coming from, where we are today, and where we are headed tomorrow.

    According to him “Never in our lifetime shall we allow those who do not know what governance means to come and reopen them again. The issue of ethnicity has been buried long before today.

    That is why everything that concerns a valid dividend of democracy, we ensure that there is fairness, equity, and justice. And that is the hallmark of our administration, and that is what all Progressives Congress believe in”.

    “We believe in competence. We don’t believe in mediocrity. We don’t believe in sectionalism. And we don’t believe in who knows man”. He added.
