    Junior Pope’s Death Prompts AGN to Suspend Movie Shoots in Riverine Areas and Ban Adanma Luke Productions

    In response to the tragic boat mishap resulting in the loss of Mr. John Paul Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, and four crew members during the filming of “The Other Side of Life” at River Niger Cable Point, Asaba, on April 10th, 2024, the Association of Nigerian Actors (AGN) under the umbrella of the International Federation of Actors (FIA) has announced the following decisions:

    1. Indefinite suspension of all film productions involving riverine areas and boat rides.
    2. A nationwide halt on all filming activities on Thursday, April 11th, 2024.
    3. Indefinite suspension of the film titled “The Other Side of Life.”
    4. A ban on actors collaborating with Adanma Luke as a producer until further notice.
    5. Expressing condolences and prayers for the deceased, with ongoing efforts to locate the remaining bodies.
