    IED Blast Rocks Buni Yadi Market in Yobe, Injures Young Girl

    A suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded at the Buni Yadi market in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State on Friday, causing widespread panic among the market’s traders and shoppers. The explosion occurred around 12:30 pm, injuring a young girl who was present at the scene.

    According to Ali Hassan, a local resident who spoke to Channels Television, the blast caused significant disruption and fear among the community.

    The incident has heightened security concerns in the region, which has experienced sporadic attacks in recent years. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the explosion and assessing its impact on the local population.
