Gunmen Abduct Tinubu, Shettima Campaign Youth Leader in Zamfara

    Published on

Gunmen have abducted Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, the North-West Youth Leader of the Tinubu and Shettima campaign organisation in Zamfara State.

The incident was made public on Thursday through a post on X by security analyst Bakatsine, who revealed that over 30 armed men stormed Gusau’s home in Gusau town and whisked him away in front of his wife.

The abduction reportedly left the family in distress. Security agencies were immediately alerted, but efforts to locate the campaign leader have so far been unsuccessful.

Bakatsine questioned the continued insecurity in the state, highlighting the persistent threat of banditry in Zamfara.

“Gunmen suspected to be bandits abduct Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, North-West Youth Leader of Tinubu/Shettima, Zamfara Chapter.

“Over 30 armed men stormed his home in Gusau and abducted him before his wife. Security agencies alerted, but no trace yet. How long will these bandit attacks continue?” he wrote.

As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official comment from security authorities regarding the abduction.
