FG working to end blackouts – Minister

    Published on

The blackout being experienced across the nation may soon come to an end as the Federal Government says it is currently resolving the gas constraints affecting power generation.

Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu disclosed the FG’s move on Thursday in his Eid-el-Fitr message to Nigerians.

According to him, recent interventions by the President Bola Tinubu-led government are beginning to yield results.

The Minister, who stressed that Nigerians will soon witness the full benefits of the interventions, further disclosed that concrete measures are being implemented to ensure stable power supply.

“Concrete measures are being implemented to ensure more reliable and sustainable electricity for homes, businesses, and industries.

“The reforms initiated by President Bola Tinubu are beginning to take root, and Nigerians will soon witness the full benefits,” he said.

The nation was recently plunged into darkness, crippling businesses and worsening the country’s hardship.

This is even as the pump price of petroleum products continues to skyrocket following the lingering crisis in the Middle East.
