    FG appoints Belgore as Executive Director for Rural Electrification Agency

    The Minister for Power, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu, has approved the appointment of Hajia Sa’adatu Belgore, as Executive Director Funds of the Rural Electrification Agency, (REA).

    DailyNewscraft.ng reports that the appointment was to replace the former Executive Director ,Rural Electrification Fund, Dr. SANUSI Ohiare who resigned his appointment to contest Governorship Primaries under the All Progressives Congress ( APC) in Kogi state.
    Dr. Sanusi, whose second term tenure was approved last year by President Muhammadu Buhari was nursing political ambition to become the Governor of Kogi state in November 2023 Election in the state.
    Letter of appointment was handed over to Hajia Belgore by the Honourable Minister of State, Power, Goddy Jedy-Agba, OFR.

    Rural Electrification Agency has the mission of Providing access to reliable electric power supply for rural dwellers irrespective of where they live and what they do, in a way that would allow a reasonable return on investment through appropriate tariff that is economically responsive and supportive of the average rural customer.
