    Extortion Scandal: Lagos Police Commissioner Takes Action, Orders Removal of Meiran DPO

    In response to the allegations of extortion and due to concerns regarding leadership neglect and inadequate supervision, Commissioner of Police (CP) Idowu Owohunwa has issued a directive for the immediate removal of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Meiran.

    Simultaneously, all officers implicated in the extortion incident have been identified, and they are presently located at the Command headquarters where their orderly room trial has been initiated.
