    Eid-Kabir; Kogi police Commissioner, Akeem Yusuf orders water tight security across the state

    The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Akeem Yusuf has ordered water tight security across the State for a peaceful Eid-El-Kabir Celebrations.

    The CP gave the order today on Monday during the monthly Conference with senior Officers, Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, Tactical and operational Commanders in the State.

    He charged the Officers to beef up security ahead of the celebration to prevent any untoward situation in their Area of Responsibilities (AOR) through out the period and beyond.

    He further tasked all Divisional Police Officers to put in measures to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free celebrations.

    They are equally directed to deploy other operational assets to carry out confidence building and crime prevention patrol on major highways, residential and vulnerable points, places of worship and other places of interest.

    The CP while congratulating the Muslim Faithfuls in the State on the occasion of 2023 Eid-El Kabir celebration.

    “I want to reiterate the preparedness and commitment in working synergy with other Security services in ensuring adequate security of lives and properties and denying space for criminal elements to thrive in and around the State”. He said.

    To this end, the Commissioner of Police enjoins the good people of Kogi State to remain security conscious through out the period, while calling on all law abiding citizens for their cooperation to curtail any act of criminality in the State.
