    EFCC Apprehends 12 Individuals Involved in Internet Fraud in Abuja

    In a recent operation, the Abuja Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 12 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud. Among the apprehended suspects are two brothers, Maxwell Nwanno and Kingsley Nwanno. The arrests took place in various estates located in Gwarimpa, Katampe, and Karu areas of Abuja. The EFCC acted upon credible intelligence concerning the alleged criminal activities of the suspects.

    The additional individuals taken into custody are Owoh Chinedu, Ricaldo Francis, Thomas Pante, Chika Okoh, Okusun Destiny, Richard Anthony, Jonathan Victor, Ekulonor Emmanuel, Thompson Amieghemen, and Kingsley Henry.

    During the operation, law enforcement officials recovered more than 20 mobile phones of various brands, nine laptops, three luxury Mercedes Benz cars, a Toyota Avalon, and a Lexus 330.

    Once investigations are concluded, the suspects will be charged in court to face appropriate legal actions.
