The Management of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency ( NEMSA) has issued a disclaimer against an online recruitment portal requesting for job applications from Nigerians

In a statement the Agency issued on Saturday 28th October 2023, NEMSA disassociated the Agency from the portal and advised Nigerians against falling victims to fraudsters.

    The statement reads

” It has come to our notice that some unscrupulous persons have created a recruitment portal on the social media in the guise of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency ( NEMSA) staff employment.

” They have been appropriating parts of our brand identity, and photographs of the NEMSA Logo with the intent to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

“One of the platforms being used by these impostors is a website https://nemsa-ng.onlineagency.site which we understand poses as a sort of investment scheme.

“For the avoidance of doubt, the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) is NOT employing now

“Kindly also note that NEMSA does not solicit for nor accept money from anyone for investments or to participate in trading activities of any kind.

“NEMSA shall not be responsible for, and expressly disclaims all liabilities for, damages of any kind arising out of the use of, reference to, or reliance on any information contained on the said website.

“The general public should take note as anyone who engages with the said website, or any other platform and material promoted by the imposters does so at their own risk.

“Our official website has been and remains www.nemsa.gov.ng”
