    Dino Melaye Expresses Concern Over Nigerians Praying for a Faulty Transformer

    In response to a video circulating online, showing individuals engaged in a prayer session around a faulty transformer, former Senator Dino Melaye, who represented Kogi West at the National Assembly, expressed his concern. The video, shared via X, depicted people praying at the location of the malfunctioning transformer.

    Melaye, in his reaction, questioned the rationale behind praying for a faulty transformer, emphasizing the significant challenges facing the country. He took to social media to share his thoughts, stating, “We are sick in Africa. How can people be praying for a spoilt transformer? Watch this video and know that we have major problems.”

    In a separate incident, Dino Melaye attracted attention on social media by referring to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the “real president.” Melaye shared a picture on the X platform featuring himself, Atiku, and others dining at an exclusive restaurant, indicating that Atiku had hosted them. The former lawmaker did not disclose the location of the restaurant in the posted pictures.
