‎A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Wuse, Abuja, on Tuesday, discharged Sadiq Adeniran and Emeka Jude charged with reckless driving and causing obstruction.

‎The Police charged Adeniran and Jude with parking in an unauthorised area and causing obstruction.

‎

‎Magistrate Ngozi Okonkwo discharged Adeniran and Jude following their guilty plea to the said offence.

‎

‎Ms Okonkwo however warned them to refrain from causing road obstruction and be of good behaviour.

‎

‎Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Chinenye Okafor, told the court that Adeniran and Jude drove their Nissan Altima and Ford Focus cars in a careless manner.

‎

‎Ms Okafar added that the drivers caused obstruction on the highway as a result and had no regard for other road users along Nnamdi Azikwe Express way by Berger, Utako, Abuja.

‎

‎She said the offence contravened the provisions of section 41 of the Road Traffic Act.

‎

‎Adeniran and Jude however begged for mercy, saying that they parked their cars to pick up passengers.
