The reason behind Chelsea co-owner Behdad Eghbali’s frequent visits to the players’ dressing room after every match has been revealed. Eghbali, who is responsible for the club alongside Todd Boehly, has been seen entering the dressing room after every game he has attended this season, which has drawn mixed reactions from fans.

Contrary to delivering speeches or addressing the team, it has been reported that Eghbali’s visits are primarily to “shake hands” with players and coaching staff and to “wish individuals well” after games. Additionally, Eghbali is said to regularly enter the office of Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Despite Chelsea’s challenging start to the season under Pochettino, the coach has urged the club’s hierarchy to provide him with time to improve results. The club has won just one of their first six Premier League games, putting pressure on the ownership group, which took over from Roman Abramovich last year after significant spending on player transfers.
