Fulham defender, Calvin Bassey has pulled out of Nigeria’s upcoming friendlies against Iran and Jordan due to a back injury.

Bassey sustained the injury during Fulham’s 3-1 victory over Burnley last weekend.

Head coach Eric Chelle is not expected to name a replacement for the defender with just two days left before his side’s first friendly against Iran on Friday.

Meanwhile, captain Wilfred Ndidi has arrived the team’s Bellis Deluxe Hotel base in Antalya, Turkey.

Ndidi’s arrival increased the number of players in camp to 22.

The Besiktas midfielder is expected to be part of the team’s first training session tonight.
