As a retired Inspector General of Police, Dr. Arase is committed to making training a fundamental aspect of the Commission’s operations.

During a recent meeting at the PSC headquarters in Abuja, Dr. Arase warmly welcomed Alhaji Sabiu Abubakar Bello, the Assistant Director of Research and Documentation at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat. Alhaji Bello had graciously donated books to the PSC library, which prompted Dr. Arase to express his intention to train as many staff members as possible. He firmly believes in the transformative power of training and its positive impact on human capital development.

Acknowledging the ongoing strategic training programs that PSC staff members are currently undertaking nationwide, Dr. Arase emphasized the pioneering role they play in the Commission’s transformation. Drawing from his own personal journey of self-development, he is determined to instill a similar desire for self-improvement in the Commission’s staff.

Moreover, Dr. Arase assured that he would actively seek out additional strategic training opportunities for the Commission’s personnel. This unwavering commitment to continuous training reflects his belief in the importance of equipping staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively carry out their duties.

Alhaji Abubakar Bello, the donor of the books to the PSC library, expressed his deep admiration for Dr. Arase’s contributions to security management in the country. He commended Dr. Arase for his investment in human development, expressing the belief that the books and journals would further enhance the harnessing of human potential.
