The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Primary Election Committee Chairman, Prof. Hafis Kawu, has officially declared the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, winner of the party’s governorship primary election.
Announcing the results at the conclusion of the exercise, Prof. Kawu stated that Governor Uba Sani secured a total of 459,393 votes to emerge victorious in the primary election conducted across the state.
He affirmed that the election process was peaceful, transparent, and conducted in line with the guidelines of the APC, noting that party delegates and officials demonstrated commitment to democratic principles throughout the exercise.
“Having scored 459,393 votes, His Excellency, Governor Uba Sani, CON, is hereby declared the winner of the Kaduna State Governorship Primary Election,” Prof. Kawu announced.
The declaration was greeted with jubilation by party supporters and stakeholders present at the venue, as chants and celebrations erupted following the announcement.
Governor Uba Sani, while addressing supporters shortly after the declaration, expressed gratitude to party members for their confidence in his leadership and pledged to continue delivering democratic dividends to the people of Kaduna State.
The APC primary election forms part of the party’s preparations ahead of the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
