    APC Candidate, others  get royal blessing

    The All Progressives Congress in Kogi West Senatorial District has received the Royal blessings of the Obaro of Kabba, HRM Oba Solomon Owoniyi, with a call on the APC and its candidates to campaign peacefully.

    The Royal father made the call when he received in audience the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Secretary to the State Government, Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly and the Flagbearer for Kogi West Senatorial District, Hon. Sunday Karimi.

    The State Governor and other top government functionaries were in Kabba and the Palace of the Obaro of Kabba , HRM Oba Solomon Owoniyi, as part of activities to officially inaugurate the APC Tinubu Shettima Presidential Campaign and that of the other candidates of the APC in Kogi West.

    The Royal father urged the people to see politics as a game in which a winner would emerge, cautioned against violence and other political vices that will be inimical to the peaceful coexistence of the people.

    Earlier in his remarks, the Kogi State Government promised more people oriented development for the people of West Senatorial District in the next dispensation.

    The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello assured that the Presidential Candidate of the APC and all its candidates in the 2023 election are resolved in ensuring that the area benefits more in the coming dispensation.

    The Governor described the party’s Presidential Flagbearers as tested and trusted, with the requesite experience to take the country to the next level.

    Gov. Bello described the forthcoming election for the country as a defining moments, with the people expected to make choices that would consolidate on the gains of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, urged the people to vote the APC in all election.

    Gov. Bello expressed deep appreciation to the people of Kogi West Senatorial District for there support for the APC led administration in the country, he particularly paid glowing tribute to the people of Kogi West for standing solidly in support of his administration.

    While promising that the APC led administration is resolved on equity fairness and justice, assured that what is due to the Western Senatorial District would be due to them in the APC administration at all levels.

    In their separate remarks, the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Mathew Kolawole and the APC Flagbearer for Kogi West Senatorial District, Hon. Sunday Karimi, assured of their commitment to ensuring peaceful campaign and promised effective representation if elected.
