Ruud van Nistelrooy’s exit from Manchester United has been confirmed. After the Premier League fired Erik ten Hag, Van Nistelrooy was brought in as a temporary replacement.

After new head coach Ruben Amorim arrived in the UK on Monday, the Red Devils issued a statement. “Please send the acc,” it said. Ruud van Nistelrooy’s departure from Manchester United is confirmed.

Ruud is and always will be a Manchester United legend. He returned in the summer and has been the team’s interim head coach for the last four games.

“We appreciate his contribution and the manner in which he has carried out his duties during his tenure with the club. He will always be extremely welcome at Old Trafford.”
