    Akperen Orshi Polytechnic Receives ₦16.6m NELFUND Loan for 283 Students

    Akperen Orshi Polytechnic, Yandev in Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State, has acknowledged the receipt of ₦16,610,900 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to support students of the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session.

    In a letter addressed to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NELFUND, the institution stated that the fund covers institutional charges for 283 students who benefited from the student loan scheme.

    The polytechnic management expressed appreciation to the Federal Government and NELFUND for the initiative, noting that the programme would help ease the financial burden on students and improve access to higher education.

    The institution also encouraged the Federal Government and NELFUND to sustain and further strengthen the programme to support the growth and development of education in Nigeria.
