‎The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has constituted a Campaign and Election Management Committee for the June 20, 2026 Ekiti State governorship election, with former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, named to lead roles.

‎The party announced the committee through its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.

‎Abdullahi said the committee is part of the ADC’s Election Management Council created to coordinate campaign activities, unify party structures, and manage field operations for the poll.

‎The ADC will contest the election against the incumbent, Governor Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

‎According to the party, Atiku heads the campaign hierarchy. Amaechi follows in the structure, while former presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, occupies a senior position.

‎Other members of the committee listed by the party include: former Cross River State Governor, Liyel Imoke; former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal; former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami; former Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba; former Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, and Senator Ireti Kingibe.

‎The party stated that members have been assigned to various sub-committees handling mobilisation, strategy, logistics, and stakeholder engagement.
