‎Actress Nancy Isime has issued a warning to individuals and organisations against conducting business or negotiating professional engagements in her name without her approval.

    ‎

‎In a post shared via Instagram on Monday, October 5, 2026, Isime said her attention had been drawn to individuals allegedly claiming to act, negotiate, or otherwise represent her interests without approval.

    ‎

‎She said the public notice was issued to clarify her position, and prevent misunderstandings regarding who is authorised to conduct business on her behalf.

    ‎

‎“My attention has been drawn to instances of certain persons purporting to act, negotiate or otherwise represent my interests without authority. This notice is, therefore, issued to clarify the position and avoid any misunderstanding,” she said.

    ‎

‎The actress specifically warned brands, agencies, corporate organisations, media organisations, event organisers, producers, business partners and other stakeholders against dealing with anyone claiming to represent her without her express approval.

    ‎

‎“The general public, including brands, agencies, corporate organisations, media organisations, event organisers, Producers, business partners, and other stakeholders, are advised that no person or entity is authorised to represent, negotiate, contract, make commitments or otherwise act on my behalf unless expressly authorised by me,” she stated.

    ‎

‎Isime also urged individuals and organisations seeking to engage her to verify the authority of anyone claiming to act on her behalf before entering into agreements or making payments connected to her professional or commercial engagements.

    ‎

‎“All persons and organisations intending to engage with me are, therefore, advised to verify the authority of any person purporting to act on my behalf before entering any arrangement or making any payment in connection with my professional or commercial engagements,” she added.

    ‎

‎For formal legal or commercial matters, Isime directed stakeholders to seek confirmation through her official email address or her legal representatives.

    ‎

‎“For matters requiring formal legal or commercial coordination concerning me, stakeholders are advised to seek confirmation via my website and/or through my legal counsel, PUNUKA Attorneys & Solicitors,” she said.

    ‎

‎The actress further warned that she reserves the right to pursue legal remedies against anyone involved in unauthorised representation, dealings or transactions carried out in her name.

    ‎

‎“I reserve all rights and remedies available to me in respect of any unauthorised representation, dealing, or transaction undertaken in my name or purportedly on my behalf,” she stated.
