‎Kebbi State Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has joined mourners across the country in mourning the demise of the NLC General Secretary, Emmanuel Ugboaja.

    ‎

‎The Kebbi Chairman, Comrade Murtala Usman, in a statement, described the demise of the union’s national scribe as rude shock to the entire labour movements across the globe.

    ‎

‎Usman described the late scribe as a humane, humble, and dedicated unionist, who served NLC with diligence, open and unequal humility.

    ‎

‎”The news of his death sent shock waves down our spines, as we mourn him we pray to God to grant his family, relatives and the entire labour movements the fortitude to bear the loss,” Usman said.

    ‎

‎The statement also conveyed the condolence message of the Governor of Kebbi State, Dr Nasir Idris, and the organised labour movements in the state.

    ‎

‎He stated that memories of his good works and positive contributions to labour movements in Nigeria will linger till eternity and will be greatly missed by the entire labour movements in Kebbi state and beyond.
