‎Oyo State Governor and Allied People’s Movement (APM) presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde, has appointed the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Chairman, Nureni Adeniran, to head both the party’s 2027 presidential and governorship campaigns in the state.

‎

‎Adeniran will serve as the Oyo State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign and also as the Director-General of the state Governorship Campaign Council.

‎

‎Makinde will formally inaugurate the APM State Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council on Friday (today) in Ibadan.

‎

‎According to a statement issued by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olarenwaju, the event is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the Conference Room of the Governor’s Office in Ibadan, the state capital.

‎

‎Other principal officers of the campaign structure also named in the statement, include the former chairman of Oyo East Local Government, Saheed Arowosaye, who was appointed Deputy State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign.

‎

‎Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon Demola Ojo, will serve as Deputy Director-General for Oyo South Senatorial District.

‎

‎Dr Femi Ojo and Alhaji Siju Lawal were named Deputy Director-General for Oyo Central and Oyo North Senatorial Districts respectively.

‎

‎Hon Ramata Agberemi Dabo was named Director of the Women’s Wing, while Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, former Special Assistant on Youth to Governor Makinde, will head the Youth Wing.

‎

‎The statement added that additional members of the campaign council will be announced later as the APM ramps up preparations for the 2027 general elections.
