    ‎Nigeria booked a place in the next phase of the Billie Jean King Cup Africa Group III Qualifier after defeating previously unbeaten Madagascar 3-0 in their final Group C match in Gaborone, Botswana.

    ‎Success Ogunjobi gave Nigeria the perfect start after recovering from a set down to beat her opponent 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the opening singles match.

    ‎Oyinlomo Quadre then doubled Nigeria’s advantage with a comfortable 6-3, 6-3 victory over Iariniaina Tsantaniony to seal qualification.

    ‎With top spot in Group C still at stake, Quadre returned alongside Khadijat in the doubles, where the Nigerian pair produced another dominant display.

    ‎The duo overwhelmed Madagascar 6-2, 6-0 to complete a comprehensive 3-0 victory.

    ‎The result ensured Nigeria finished the group stage unbeaten and qualified for the next phase of the competition as Group C winners.
