The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Turaki faction in Plateau State, Honourable Sunday Garba Biggs, has said that he is contesting against the current governor of the state Caleb Mutfwang because there is a wide vacuum which he has failed to fill.

Biggs, who is from Mangu local government council of Plateau just as Mutfwang, stressed that there is much to be desired from the governor.

The candidate, who was addressing journalists yesterday at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Plateau Council Press Centre, unequivocally and abysmally performed below expectations of the people of the state.

He stressed that the governor’s performance leaves to be desired because the state is much bigger than an individual, pointing out that the dismal performance of his kinsman cannot be tolerated.

“That my kinsman is occupying the seat as governor does not mean I should contest against him.
