The Federal College of Education (Technical), Bichi, Kano State, has commended the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the timely disbursement of education loans to students of the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In an acknowledgement and commendation letter addressed to the Managing Director/Chief Executive of NELFUND, the institution confirmed the receipt of the first tranche of disbursement benefiting 63 students.

According to the letter, the total amount disbursed under the batch stands at N4,725,000, aimed at supporting students’ institutional charges and easing financial burdens on beneficiaries.

The college management described the intervention as a significant opportunity for underprivileged students, noting that the initiative has brought relief and improved access to education for many beneficiaries.

The institution further appreciated the management of NELFUND for its commitment to supporting Nigerian students through accessible education financing.

The letter, signed by Sani Naubale, Deputy Registrar (Directorate for Undergraduate Programmes) and Desk Officer for NELFUND, conveyed the appreciation and goodwill of the institution’s management to the agency.

NELFUND, established by the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, continues to provide financial support to students across tertiary institutions in Nigeria as part of efforts to improve access to higher education.
