The proposed Super Falcons’ training tour of the United Kingdom will no longer hold after their friendly opponent Jamaica withdrew from the arrangement.
The trip was initially scheduled for May 23 to 28, with the friendly against the Jamaicans lined up as part of the tour.
It was meant to serve as part of the Super Falcons preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
According to Savid News, the friendly was cancelled due to administrative issues encountered by the Jamaicans.
It would be recalled that Cape Verde also pulled out of the double-header friendlies with the Super Falcons last month.
The Super Falcons will to wait for the next FIFA women’s international window in June to engage in a friendly match.
Justine Madugu’s side were last in action in March, when they defeated the Indomitable Lionesses 3-1 in Yaounde.
They will be defending their title at the WAFCON 2026 finals in Morocco in July.
