Nollywood actress Sunshine Rosman has raised concerns over insecurity and the harsh economic conditions many Nigerians are facing.

The actress shared a video on her Instagram story were she appeared in tears while speaking about what she described as the worsening state of the nation.

In the video, she questioned why there seems to be little action despite the growing problems affecting citizens across different parts of the country.

She spoke about rising poverty, poor infrastructure, and the displacement of people due to insecurity.

She also drew attention to the situation in Northern Nigeria, where repeated attacks have forced many residents to abandon their homes and seek safety elsewhere.

Rosman expressed worry over the continuous loss of lives and what she sees as a troubling direction for the country.

She stated that many affected communities feel helpless and believe nothing is being done to protect them.

She said, “When are we going to wake up as Nigerians? When is it finally going to be enough? Like, is it… We can’t even begin to talk about the economy right now, the poverty rates. We can’t begin to talk about the lack of infrastructure in this country. That’s not bad enough. In a sense, people and Christians in the North are constantly being slaughtered. Lives are being lost for nothing. But people have to migrate. from their towns, from their homes, from their villages, because they know that nothing will be done. I swear it’s not normal. I swear to God this is not normal.”
