The Renewed Hope Concern Citizens (RHCC) has formally endorsed Hon. Duro Meseko for his continued service as Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing his track record of leadership, professionalism, and commitment to public service.

In a statement issued on Thursday and signed by Hon. Kelechi Ugwumba, Head of Strategic and Planning, the group expressed strong confidence in Meseko’s ability to further strengthen the party’s communication structure and advance its Renewed Hope agenda.

Duro Meseko, an indigene of Kogi State, was praised for his extensive experience in both media and politics. A Political Science graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Meseko also holds an honorary doctorate in Leadership and Governance.

Before venturing into politics, Meseko built a career in journalism, contributing to notable publications such as TELL Magazine and THISDAY Newspapers. His transition into politics, RHCC noted, was driven by a strong commitment to democratic ideals and pro-democracy advocacy.

Meseko previously represented the Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives between 2003 and 2007. He currently serves as Chairman of the Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI), where he has been credited with impactful governance and strategic initiatives, including the APC’s 2026 e-registration drive.

Beyond public office, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Dgovscoops Communications Ltd and operates De-Gov FM, reflecting his continued engagement in media and public communication. He also holds the traditional title of Asiwaju of Imososi Kingdom and has been recognized for philanthropic efforts, particularly in the health sector.

RHCC described Meseko as a loyal and visionary leader, expressing full trust in his competence to enhance the APC’s public engagement and messaging strategy.

The group concluded by reaffirming its unwavering support for his continued tenure, emphasizing his capacity to contribute meaningfully to national development through effective communication and leadership within the ruling party.
