Ola Aina won his first-ever Premier League Player of the Match award following Nottingham Forest’s barren draw against Fulham on Sunday.

Aina put up an impressive display in the encounter played at the City Ground.

The full-back finished the game with the most tackles (four), and the most duels won (four).

Aina also recorded 10 clearances, five headed clearances, three recoveries, and one interception.

The Nigeria international came close to scoring the game’s winning goal in the second half but his superb shot from inside the box crashed against the woodwork.

His compatriot, Taiwo Awoniyi featured as a substitute for Forest in the game.

Fulham also paraded their three Nigerian imports, Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Samuel Chukwueze
