Club Brugge head coach, Ivan Leko has expressed disappointment with Raphael Onyedika’s suspension for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League playoffs tie against Atletico Madrid.
Onyedika was booked in the 76th minute of Club Brugge’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Diego Simeone’s side at the Jan Breydelstadion on Wednesday night.
The defensive midfielder starred for the Belgian Pro League side in the thrilling encounter.
The 24-year-old scored Brugge’s first goal, and set up Christos Tzolis for the third one minute from time.
Leko admitted that they have to find a solution without Onyedika in the second leg.
“We don’t have another Rapha, so we’ll have to find another solution,” Leko was quoted by the club’s official website.
The reverse fixture will hold next week Tuesday at the Metropolitano Stadium.
