    Super Falcons dominate IFFHS Africa 2025 Best XI

    Five Super Falcons players, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Michelle Alozie, Ashleigh Plumptre, Christy Ucheibe and Rasheedat Ajibade have been named in the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, IFFHS, Women’s Africa Best XI for 2025.

    The selection was published on the IFHS official website.

    Nnadozie, Alozie, Plumptre and Ajibade were key parts of the Super Falcons’ squad that won the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco.

    Goalkeeper Nnadozie, Alozie and Ajibade were also named in the Team of the Tournament.

    South Africa duo Bambanani Mbane, and Lebohang Ramalepe also made the selection.

    Others are Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak, the 2025 CAF African Women’s Player of the Year, Malawi’s Temwa Chawinga, Zambia’s Barbra Banda and Morocco’s Sanaâ Mssoudy.
