    Fubara attends inaugural meeting of APC committee on strategy, conflict resolution

    The All Progressives Congress, APC, Strategy, Conflict Resolution and Mobilization Committee held its inaugural meeting on Wednesday night in Abuja.

    The meeting was hosted by the committee’s chairman and Governor of Yobe State, Mala Buni, at the Yobe State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.

    Those in attendance included Governors Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Uba Sani (Kaduna) and Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti).

    Others present were the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle; Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola; former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello; Senator Kabiru Marafa; former APC National Legal Adviser, Muiz Banire; and Ibrahim Masari, Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Political Affairs.

    Governors Bassey Otu (Cross River), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara) and Umar Namadi (Jigawa), who are members of the committee, were absent from the meeting.

    President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the committee on Wednesday, December 24, with a mandate to address internal conflicts within the APC and strengthen the party’s mobilization efforts nationwide.
