Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has revealed that Brazilian superstar Neymar was the player he admired most while growing up.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, the England international said he watched virtually every clip of Neymar during the forward’s peak years at Barcelona.

“I have to pick Neymar,” Saka said. “Growing up, he was the player I idolised the most. There’s not a clip of him on YouTube I haven’t watched.

“The joy and freedom he brought to football were incredible. Me and my friends used to watch his videos all the time at the academy.”

Saka added that Neymar’s creativity and flair continue to influence his own approach to the game.
