Gov Kefas officially receives APC membership card

    Published on

Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has formally confirmed his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), weeks after announcing his defection to the ruling party.

In a social media post, the governor announced that he received his APC membership card from Umaru Tanko, chairman of the APC Hospital Ward in Wukari Local Government Area.

Kefas expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded him by party executives and members across Taraba State, thanking the APC leadership for embracing him.

“Not so long ago, I received my All Progressives Congress (APC) membership card from Hon. Umaru Tanko, the Chairman of the APC Hospital Ward in Wukari LGA. I appreciate the warm welcome from the executives and members of the APC in Taraba State,” he said.

The governor had announced his defection to the APC a few weeks earlier, although plans for a formal reception were postponed following a series of security challenges across the country.
