AFCON 2025: NFF launches ‘NAIJA 4 THE WIN’ campaign as Eagles eye title

    Published on

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled the NAIJA 4 THE WIN campaign as the Super Eagles gear up for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, signalling a renewed national push to reclaim continental football glory.

Nigeria, three-time AFCON champions, will head to Morocco with high expectations and unfinished business following their silver-medal finish at the 2023 tournament in Côte d’Ivoire. While the runners-up result was widely praised, it has also strengthened the resolve within the team to go one step further and return the trophy to Nigeria.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Eric Sékou Chelle, and with the backing of the National Sports Commission and the NFF, the Super Eagles are building a competitive squad anchored on discipline, experience, emerging talents and collective ambition. Football authorities say preparations are firmly focused on surpassing the last tournament’s performance and mounting a serious title challenge.

The NAIJA 4 THE WIN campaign is designed as a rallying call to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora, evoking memories of past AFCON triumphs in 1980, 1994 and 2013. According to the NFF, Morocco 2025 presents another opportunity for Nigeria to add a fresh chapter to its rich football history.

The federation has urged Nigerians to lend their full support to the team throughout the competition, whether from viewing centres across the country or from the stands in Morocco, noting that fan backing remains a vital source of motivation for the players.

With preparations intensifying and expectations rising, the Super Eagles head into the tournament with a clear mission—to conquer Africa once again.
