The countdown is on, as in just three days, the highly anticipated 2025 Champions Cup will ignite the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, at 3pm on Saturday.

Football would meet entertainment as Senegalese legend Khalilou Fadiga and Nigerian music powerhouse, Odumodublvck headline a star-studded lineup for the iconic clash between Barça Legends and African Legends.

The event promises an electrifying blend of nostalgia, rhythm, and sportsmanship — a true festival of African excellence.

Fadiga, renowned for his time with Inter Milan, Bolton Wanderers, and Senegal’s unforgettable 2002 World Cup squad, expressed excitement about returning to Nigeria. With 37 international caps and a career defined by flair and passion, he remains one of Africa’s most respected football ambassadors.

Odumodublvck, in his signature swagger, promised fans “mad energy on and off the turf,” teasing a blend of football, music, and pure chaos — the fun kind.

Organisers have promised an unforgettable experience, complete with live performances, fan interactions, and a vibrant showcase of African culture and creativity.

The Barça Legends side features global icons Ronaldinho, Ludovic Giuly, Javier Saviola, Samuel Okunowo, Fernando Navarro, Jesús Angoy, and Marc Valiente. They’ll square off against African greats led by Jay-Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu, Alex Song, and Mark Fish.

Beyond the pitch action, the event includes a “Legends Meet & Greet” and an exclusive gala dinner, giving fans a rare chance to mingle with football royalty.

Proceeds from the day will support girl-child education initiatives across Africa — proving that this isn’t just football; it’s legacy work.

The event is powered by The Attom Foundation, in partnership with ZMB Homes and WGI.
