The family of Prince Bameiyi, a protocol officer with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), has been abducted by unknown assailants in Gwagwalada, Federal Capital Territory.

The incident, which occurred over the weekend, involved the kidnapping of Bameiyi’s wife and three children. According to the distraught official, he had just returned from attending a burial when he received the devastating news.

Security agencies have been alerted and are working to ensure the victims’ safe release. Authorities have also urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.

This development underscores growing concerns over security in parts of the FCT, as communities continue to grapple with the threat of abductions.
