The Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA), led by Dr. Isah Ladan Bosso, congratulated four head coaches whose teams earned promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) from the just-concluded NNL Super 8 Playoff.

Coach Napoleon Ahuma of Warri Wolves, Coach Maikaba Abdu of Wikki Tourists, Coach Rabiu Tata of Barau FC (Best Coach of the Tournament), and Coach Obinna Uzoho of Kun Khalifat FC were all praised for their tactical brilliance and leadership.

Bosso also commended the NNL and NFF for elevating the quality of Nigeria’s second-tier league and called on coaches who narrowly missed promotion to regroup and come back stronger.

As Abeokuta plays host to this grand stage of youth athletics, one thing is certain—Africa’s future track and field giants are being forged right here, under the shadows of Olumo Rock, cheered on by kings, coaches, fans, and the continent.

From sprints to steeplechase, from hammer throws to hurdles, the championship is more than a sporting event. It’s a celebration of youth, resilience, and the undying African spirit.
