Popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Yul Edochie, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to concentrate on addressing Nigeria’s pressing issues rather than being distracted by conversations surrounding the 2027 general elections.

Taking to his Instagram page, the actor stressed that the country is currently grappling with serious challenges, particularly the high cost of living and worsening insecurity.

The actor, who has been a vocal supporter of President Tinubu, wrote:
“To my dear President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, @officialasiwajubat. Please don’t let politicians distract you with 2027. We’re still in 2025. High cost of living and high rate of insecurity are still ravaging Nigerians. These two remain the most pressing issues to deal with. May God lead you, sir.”

Recall that Edochie recently appealed to President Tinubu to consider reviving the cashless policy introduced by former President Muhammadu Buhari, arguing that it helped reduce criminal activities and curbed the high cost of living.
