Tinubu settles Ganduje with FAAN chairmanship

    Published on

Days after his resignation as the immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has swiftly appointed him as the Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).2

This appointment comes shortly after widespread rumors that Dr. Ganduje was planning to defect from the APC to the African Democratic Congress. His new role is expected to allay fears within the APC-led government regarding his potential defection.

The announcement was made during the formal inauguration of newly appointed FAAN board members in Abuja.

Ganduje had resigned from the ruling party’s exalted position last week, citing urgent and personal matters. He has since been replaced by Ali Bukar Dalori as the APC’s National Chairman.
