    Late Kano billionaire, Aminu Dantata to be buried in Saudi Arabia

    Remains of the late Kano billionaire and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata will be buried in Medina, Saudi Arabia

    According to his personal secretary, Mustapha Abdulahi Junaidu, the Saudi Arabian government has approved the transportation of the body of the late prominent businessman and philanthropist from Abu Dhabi to the holy city of Madina for his final rites.

    Alhaji Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, the Private Principal Secretary to the late Dantata, announced this in a Facebook post on Sunday.

    “Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah, I have received approval to take Aminu Alhassan Dantata from Abu Dhabi to Madina, he will be buried tomorrow morning by the grace of Allah,” the post read.

    Dantata died in the early hours of Saturday at a hospital in Abu Dhabi after a brief illness.

    The family had earlier disclosed that the late industrialist would be buried in Madina next to his wife, Rabi’a Dantata, who died in 2023, in accordance with his final wishes.
