Nigerian Afrobeats musician Burna Boy has replied to the controversy which followed his plan to do a free concert in Burkina Faso.

The remark came after detractors derided the proposal and said he was supposedly rejected by the President of Burkina Faso.

In an Instagram Story, the Grammy-winning musician defended his goals and attacked those who questioned them.

He claims that his acts are motivated by principles rather than selfish interests.

Burna Boy expressed his surprise at some people’s surprisingly harsh and unpleasant remarks.

“No one can benefit me in any way. Even though I owe no one anything, I continue to perform the fantastic work that I do. My honesty is undeniable. Thus, if you uttered anything unfavorable, burn in hell. Boy Burna  wrote.
