After Bafetimbi Gomis in the 2017–18 season and Mauro Icardi in the 2023–24 season, Osimhen is currently the third foreign football player in Galatasaray history to score 25 goals in a Super Lig season, according to Opta.
With 25 goals so far this season, the Super Eagles striker leads the Turkish Super Lig in scoring.
Krzysztof Piątek, who is in second place with 21 goals, is four goals behind the Napoli loanee.
The 26-year-old has made 40 appearances for Galatasaray this season, scoring 36 goals and dishing out eight assists.
In the meantime, Galatasaray won the league title in front of their home crowd after defeating Kayserispor.
Galatasaray leads the Turkish Super Lig table by eight points.
With two games left in the season, they are ahead of Fenerbahçe, who are in second place.
Fenerbahçe has 81 points, while Galatasaray has 89.
