Some victims of recent rainstorms in Pandagi and Nanda communities in Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) were at the weekend given relief by the chairman of the council,

Our reporter gathered that the chairman of Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, provided financial assistance to the victims, which runs into millions naira on compensation, with each victim receiving an amount commensurate with the level of damage to their property.

The Vice Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Isah Makah, had led an assessment team to evaluate the extent of the damage and provide support to the victims.

Responding on behalf of the victims, the Ohiodumi of Pandagi, His Royal Highness Alhaji Musa Usman Amshaga, expressed gratitude to the Chairman for the generous funding, stating that it would make a significant difference in the lives of the affected victims.

The victims praised the chairman’s swift emergency response and commitment to addressing their needs.

They described his leadership as dedicated and responsive, highlighting his willingness to support those affected by the rainstorm.
