The Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, has described the Okpebholo-led government as a result-oriented one with the aim of bringing development to the people and in turn bringing poverty levels to its barest minimum.

Ohonbamu, who stated this while receiving the Zonal Director and Management Staff of the National Orientation Agency at his office in Benin City, explained that, in less than six months in office, Governor Monday Okpebholo has approved three flyover bridges to be constructed in the State.

He added that the presence of a flyover bridge brings commercialisation and improved economic standards to the area it is located.

The Commissioner further stated that most of the Federal Government Roads that were ignored by past administrations had received attention in the present administration.

He noted that good work is visible for all to see, despite contrary information being perpetrated by detractors of the Government.

“The present administration is not to create ‘permanent underclass’ but rather eradicate poverty through people-oriented development,” he said.
