National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Sylvester Ezeokenwa has predicted a minimum of 100,000 votes for Governor Chukwuma Soludo from Onitsha in the upcoming November 8 gubernatorial poll.
Ezeokenwa who made the prediction at a mega rally at Godwin Achebe Stadium, Fegge, Onitsha said the governor would secure the votes from the area due to his “unprecedented developmental strides.”
According to him, Onitsha’s political structures are united in supporting Soludo’s re-election for the election.
He vowed APGA would win all 21 local governments and 326 wards, citing Soludo’s infrastructure achievements, including 18 roads in Onitsha South.
He enumerated the groups the votes would come from to include traders, footballers, students, clergy, church groups, women, and youth.
“No local government will surpass Onitsha South in delivering votes for you. We shall deliver them by noon on Election Day,” he added.
Former APGA Chairman, Victor Oye described Soludo’s achievements as “divinely orchestrated,” predicting a “walkover” victory following Soludo’s transformative governance.
Soludo, in his speech, expressed gratitude to the people of the State for their continuous support and confidence in his leadership.
He thanked God and the judiciary for upholding justice, just as he appreciated the APGA family, especially National Chairman, Ezeokenwa, for their resilience and unwavering commitment to his leadership.
The governor reiterated his administration’s focus on delivering transformative policies and programs for the people of Anambra State, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
He assured the people that the achievements of his administration were just the beginning and that the upcoming election would mark the next phase of progress for Anambra State.
