Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has been shortlisted for Fulham’s Goal of the Month award for April, following his impressive strike in the 2-1 loss to Chelsea at Craven Cottage on April 20.

Iwobi’s goal came in the 20th minute, when he calmly slotted the ball past Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from the edge of the box. It marked his ninth goal of the season under manager Marco Silva.

Also in contention for the award is Nigeria-born midfielder Chibuzo Nwoko, recognized for his goal in Everton’s U-21 match against Nottingham Forest on April 28.

Other nominees include Rodrigo Muniz, Ryan Sessegnon, Seth Ridgeon, and Emile Smith Rowe.
