Guardiola: When I leave Man City, I’ll take a sabbatical

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has stated that he will take a vacation after leaving the Premier League team.

But Guardiola isn’t sure if he’ll quit coaching after that.

The 54-year-old’s longest coaching tenure to far has been nine years at the Etihad.

He managed Bayern Munich for three years and Barcelona for four before joining City.

Last year, Guardiola agreed to a two-year contract deal that would keep him at Etihad Stadium until 2027.

Guardiola told ESPN Brasil, “I want people to remember me however they want.”

“I’m going to stop once my contract with City is up. I’m positive. I’m going to take a break, but I’m not sure if I’ll retire. I’m not sure how I want to be remembered.

Although I think the supporters of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and City enjoyed watching my teams play, all coaches want to win so we can have a memorable job. We shouldn’t ever live our lives worrying about whether we will be remembered, in my opinion.
