President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will visit Katsina State for the first time since taking office in 2023 on Friday for a one-day business visit.
According to information obtained, the visit is anticipated to concentrate on launching important infrastructure projects carried out by Governor Dikko Radda’s government.
At a press conference in Katsina on Wednesday, Bala Salisu-Zango, the State Commissioner for Information, made the news. He affirmed that two important projects would be inaugurated by President Tinubu when he was there.
The Eastern Bypass, which starts at Dutsin-ma Road and travels via Kano and Daura Roads before ending at Yandaki in the Kaita Local Government Area, is one of the two significant projects that will be put into service.
In order to strengthen the state’s agricultural industry, the President will also officially open the recently created Agricultural Mechanization Center.
Additionally, Salisu-Zango pointed out that the visit gives the state a chance to talk about some of its continuing issues, especially those pertaining to security.
The commissioner emphasized that the President’s visit will enable direct discussion on the state’s growing security concerns.
Ahead of the President’s arrival, the commissioner asked Katsina citizens to turn out in force to greet the President and support his government. During the visit, he also urged everyone to keep the peace.
